SUPPORT MISSION TOGETHER

ADA 2023 & ASCENSION'S RENEWAL

You are invited once again to participate in the Annual Diocesan Appeal.

Thanks to your generous support for the ADA 2021 and 2022 and additional donations,

Ascension completed a new sound system in the church last October! Thank you.

The ADA 2023 theme is “Supporting Our Mission Together." The kick-off weekend will be February 4-5, 2023. The overall diocesan goal for 2023 is $6.77 million and our parish goal is $74,109. The average gift from Ascension to the ADA in the past four years was $609.

This year we will start the Celebration of Ascension’s 60th Anniversary (May 21, 2023 – May 9, 2024)! We are called not only to remember the past but also to renew our faith and rejuvenate our mission. Any ADA surplus this year will go back to Ascension to support our parish renewal.

Please prayerfully consider what you can give to assist the ministry and mission of both our Diocese and our Parish, whose first Mass was celebrated in a rusty drying shed next to the corn patch at the corner of Prospect Rd and Miller Ave in November 1964.
