FACILITIES UPDATES

August 27, 2023

-The repairs on the church rooftop continues, with a new coating ($18,565), the roof drain clearing, the cross restoration (about $2,000), etc.

-We have begun repairing potholes, cracks, root heaves, in the parking lots and driveways, and will pave the surfaces soon (about $30,000+). View pictures in the August 27 parish bulletin [here].

There will be more updates on other projects. We appreciate any donations to these repair projects, including a generous gift from a family in March.

August 20, 2023

-We just repaired the water leakage at the church skylight and will unclog the roof drain in a few days.

-The Cross on the church rooftop, downed during a storm in February, will be back on the octagrammic cupola with a secure socket. View pictures in the August 20 parish bulletin [here].

These works are possible thanks to our Buildings & Grounds Committee, our maintenance staff and volunteers, and funded by an insurance payment and a generous donation from a family. Thank you!
